What it is
Research project asking: when a CNN says two images are similar, does that match what humans say? Designed a behavioural experiment and compared CNN feature similarity to human judgments across animal images.
What I shipped
- Extracted image features using pre-trained CNNs (VGG16, ResNet) and computed similarity matrices.
- Designed and shipped a behavioural experiment in HTML/CSS/JS to collect human similarity judgments on the same image pairs.
- Statistical comparison of model vs human representations across categories.
- Won Best Research Award · SnT Council, IIT Kanpur.
